With Exhibition Night only 1 week away, the fourth graders were very busy finishing their knowledge products and refining their presentations to present to the community. Some of the groups even began taking action and sharing their knowledge with the greater Whitby Community. Below are some pictures of action that has already been taken.

Ollie Webster and Mikey Leach took action and organized a school wide food drive to benefit the New Covenant Center and Dorothy Day Hospitality Center.
Lily Hakim, Stephy Andre, Lara Erim, Dylan Pabon, and Henry McEvoy took action by teaching the LE students about animal abuse and how they could help. They created an interactive game and a movie to help them share their knowledge.

Karina Mehta took action by creating an inclusive recess activity involving choreographing a dance. She worked to help make people feel included, welcomed, and accepted.
Arianna Netter took action by creating and presenting a Pledge. People will sign the pledge which states that they will use the Internet appropriately and engage in proper digital citizenship. Arianna already has many signatures from her fellow fourth graders as well as the teachers.

Ciall Lombard, Rami Murad, Finnegan Junkermann, and Turner Wolf spent a morning in the Grade 3 rooms playing a game of Jeopardy that they created. Each question was made to teach the students about sports injuries and how to prevent them.

Inaaya Jacobsen took action by giving each mother a bag of wildflower seeds during Whitby Mother's Day. Her hope is for the mothers to spread the seeds to attract pollinators and birds to our area. Inaaya's inquired into animal conservation as her Exhibition project.

Victor Mauger and Josh Lunder worked hard in the Makerspace to create a Plinko Board. The boys are going to set up their game at Mayfair and raise awareness about climate change and what we can do to help prevent any further damage to the environment.
Inaaya Jacobson, Sara Rashid, Juliet Geraci, Julia Aere, Caroline Resnick performed a puppet show for the Primary students. The show was about various animals that are going endangered and how we can help prevent this from happening.
The Water Drops raised awareness for equal access to clean water by hosting a "Walk for Water" on Exhibition Day. Participants were asked to carry 1-2 full gallons of water across the field to get a sense of what it is like for millions of people around the world who need to walk for miles to get access to water for survival.
Elise Bruyland, Jack Duffy, and Anika Bhat organized a beach clean up at Todd's Point Beach in Greenwich. They were joined by friends and family to pick up trash and recycle various items.
